I have been touched by the many stories I have heard about those that gave their lives while serving our great Nation.  These brave young men and

women were remarkable human beings.  They loved life, loved their families, and they all loved our country. They are all true American Heroes and they will

forever live in my heart and the hearts of many .  May God rest their souls in peace and may we all strive to be the kind of people they were!

You may have noticed a few pictures of servicemen from Alabama, Mississippi and Texas.  We've honored these young men because there are no

Blue Star Mothers Chapters near their parents or their parents are now located in Louisiana.  I felt it was important for us to remember and honor

them as much as our Louisiana sons and daughters!  They are our heroes as well!
